Whether you are just starting your life together & your love is fresh and new or you have kids & years of togetherness under your belt, it is important to get pictures of just you & your love.
Life keeps moving, it is good to stop and document the life that happens along the way. I love to take a few shots of just mom & dad at every family photo shoot, help the kids remember the love that started their family (as a bonus, the kids love to have a chance to make mom and dad laugh while I take photos.)
